Tree Structured Traffic Coordination with Decentralized Optimization

Traffic coordination problem has recently attracted increasing research interest, and there are many similarities between traffic coordination and tree topology. Thus, we try to model the vehicles coordination problems as tree graphs and use decentralized algorithm to solve it. In this presentation, a new decentralized algorithm with high efficiency over tree topology will be introduced. Furthermore, we will show a case study by applying the algorithm into a practical traffic scenario with multiple merge intersections.
