Via Brunero Paoli Residence

The latest addition to the IMT Campus is the Residence in Via Brunero Paoli (with an indoor surface of 2,468 m2), unveiled on July 6 th 2023. The building was granted by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca to IMT School on gratuitous loan on February 1 st 2023, after a magnificent refurbishment co-funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research which helped extend the regeneration of the eastern part of the town, where all of the IMT Campus is located. The Residence includes 100 beds for the IMT students, 3 kitchens, 6 study halls and a few leisure and relaxation areas. The vast inner garden includes a bike parking area and a multipurpose space for resident students. The Reception is at the main entrance in Via Brunero Paoli, 31 and is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Student Residence
The Brunero Paoli Residence for the IMT students includes 46 double bedrooms with a bathroom and 8 single rooms that can sleep up to 100 students. The School provides bed and bath linen, blankets and bedspreads. A biweekly laundry service with a change of linen is available too. 
Students who have been granted a place in the Residence must use their official badges (a magnetic ID card) to enter. On the ground floor, the students have a small luggage room where they can leave their personal belongings when they have to leave the Halls to study or do research off site.
Teaching and research Areas
On the ground floor of Brunero Paoli Residence, there are 6 study halls for the students, with two larger ones that can double up as teaching or seminar facilities.
KitchensThe Brunero Paoli Residence has 3 communal kitchens, one on each floor, with an induction cooker, a microwave, a dishwasher and a refrigerator each.
4 laundry rooms, with washing machines and dryers, are available for resident students. The token machine is on the ground floor.
Leisure and wellness areas

To encourage socialisation and recreational activities, in the Brunero Paoli Residence the students can freely use:

  • A living room with sofas and tables on the ground floor
  • A little coffee station on the ground floor
  • A reading nook with sofas and armchairs on the ground floor and on the first floor
  • A vast private inner garden
A gym on the ground floor of the building in Via Brunero Paoli with a separate entrance includes a reception, locker rooms, showers and a large fitness room, exclusively for the IMT students.
