Profile
The ideal candidate has a backgroud in Cultural Studies, Art History, or related fields, with a solid knowledge of Gender Studies and a strong interest in women’s artistic and craft practices as well as in cultural heritage valorisation. They are skilled in archival and field research, able to collaborate with public and private institutions, and contribute to interdisciplinary projects combining historical reconstruction, contemporary analysis, and participatory methodologie
Activity
- Archival research on historical materials from the Bibliolucca network;
- Mapping of women’s careers in the local artistic craft sector;
- Preparation of scientific and public-oriented reports;
- Participation in workshops, seminars, and dissemination activities;
- Collaboration with public and private project partners;
- Support in the design and fundraising for further research and heritage valorisation activities in the same thematic areas.
Formal requirements
- master's degree in Art History, Cultural Studies (including Cultural Management), Aesthetics, Cultural Anthropology, or related fields
- possession of a Ph.D. in archaeological or related disciplines is a preferential qualification, all other conditions being equal.
Specific requirements
- Research experience and/or previous publications in gender studies and artistic/craft practices;
- Proven skills in archival analysis and interdisciplinary project management;
- knowledge of Italian is preferable
- excellent command of written and spoken English.
