The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in research within health economics, using both experimental and data driven methods.
We need a candidate that:
_can develop and run on-line experiments, using tools specific of health economics;
_can work with Danish register data and is knowledgeable about the development of cancer treatment in the last 15 years;
_can analyze large database using state-of-the-art applied econometrics methods.
Having obtained a PhD is not a requirement.
The successful candidate will work with the team involved in the THE (Tuscany Health Ecosystem) project.
The candidate will collaborate to two projects: the first will be focused on reducing inappropriate access to the emergency room. This project is experimental based. The second project is data-driven and studies how different types of cancer treatment affect the career of patients.
The candidate will also participate in research developed in the MAMMOSCREEN framework.
- Master's degree in Economics;
- Experience in experimental research (Designing, programming, and running on-line experiments);
- Experience in data-driven research (applied econometrics and machine learning);
- good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken.

- Experience using Danish register data is a plus.
