Activity
Modelling of material instability and fracture of quasi-brittle materials, in the framework of the activities of the ERC Starting Grant CA2PVM - Multi-field and multi-scale Computational Approach to design and durability of Photovoltaic Modules. Activities related to the development of the PhD research and education of IMT.
Formal requirements
A PhD in structural mechanics or related areas. Candidates must have an excellent record of high-impact international publications. Candidates should demonstrate experience in fracture mechanics, material instabilities, material modelling, photoelasticity.
Specific requirements
Researcher with experience documented by publications in international journals in the following areas: solid mechanics, material modelling, fracture mechanics and material instabilities, experimental methods with special regard to photoelasticity.
