IMT Lucca invita a candidarsi per una posizione da Collaboratore di Ricerca relativa alla valutazione delle tecnologie sanitarie ed alla loro analisi statistica. IMT Lucca cerca un/a Collaboratore di Ricerca motivato/a ed entusiasta che si unisca all'attività di ricerca di IMT Lucca nell'ambito del progetto THE (Tuscany Health Ecosystem) e specificatamente del suo sottoprogetto "Predictive Analytics for Healthcare Solutions". Il/la candidato/a deve possedere un'attitudine alla ricerca interdisciplinare, che integri conoscenze relative ai sistemi sanitari, all'economia, ed alla statistica. Requisiti preferenziali sono costituiti da una precedente esperienza nell'analisi dei test clinici, e da una approfondita conoscenza del sistema sanitario assistenziale italiano. La posizione ha la durata di un anno, estendibile.
IMT Lucca invites applications for a Research Collaborator position in health technology assessment and statistical analysis. IMT Lucca is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Research Collaborator to join the research activity of IMT Lucca in the context of the project THE (Tuscany Health Ecosystem), and specifically of its subproject "Predictive Analytics for Healthcare Solutions". The candidate must have a cross-disciplinary research attitude, integrating knowledge in healthcare, economics, and statistics. Prior experience in the analysis of clinical trials and an extensive knowledge about the Italian healthcare system are preferential requisites. The position is for one year, extendable.
Il/la Collaboratore di Ricerca sarà coinvolto/a nella valutazione di tecnologie sanitarie, con specifico riferimento a nuove tecniche di acquisizione di dati biomedici ed all'applicazione in ambito sanitario di metodi di apprendimento automatico. Scenari di applicazione saranno, ad esempio, la diagnosi di cancro al seno e la valutazione del suo rischio.
The Research Collaborator will be involved in the health technology assessment of novel biomedical data acquisition techniques and healthcare applications of machine-learning methods. Application scenarios will include, e.g., breast cancer diagnosis and its risk assessment.
- Master's Degree in: Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics or other fields related to the topic of the research;
- Good knowledge of both written and spoken English;
Other specific requirements:
The candidate must have a professional background to work in a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary team; preferrable but not necessary are a prior experience in the analysis of clinical trials and an extensive knowledge about the Italian healthcare system.
