Automated Analysis and Prediction of Human Movement Qualities

La Scuola IMT Lucca invita a candidarsi per una posizione da Assegnista di Ricerca relativa all'analisi del movimento, con particolare riferimento all'investigazione - basata su metodi di apprendimento automatico - dell'origine del movimento in individui e gruppi di persone, ed allo studio di altre qualità del movimento umano. IMT Lucca cerca un/a Assegnista di Ricerca motivato/a ed entusiasta che si unisca all'attività di ricerca di IMT Lucca nell'ambito del progetto PRIN PNRR 2022 MOTUS (Automated Analysis and Prediction of Human Movement Qualities). Il/la candidato/a deve possedere un'attitudine alla ricerca interdisciplinare, che integri conoscenze relative ai modelli per l'analisi del movimento, all'apprendimento automatico, ed alla programmazione informatica. La posizione ha la durata di un anno, ed è estendibile.

IMT Lucca invites applications for a Research Fellow position in movement analysis, with particular reference to the investigation - based on machine-learning methods - of the origin of movement in individuals and groups of people, and to the study of other qualities of human movement. IMT Lucca is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Research Fellow to join is research activity in the context of the PRIN PNRR 2022 project MOTUS (Automated Analysis and Prediction of Human Movement Qualities). The candidate must have a cross-disciplinary research attitude, integrating knowledge in models of movement analysis, machine learning, and computer programming. The position is for one year, and is extendable.

• Master's Degree in: Applied Mathematics, Computational Neuroscience, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Control Engineering, Data Science, Mathematical Methods of Economics, Operations Research, Physics, Robotics, Statistics, or other fields related to the topic of the research
• Good knowledge of both written and spoken English;

Other specific requirements:

Il candidato dovrà avere un background professionale che consenta di lavorare in un team altamente collaborativo e multidisciplinare; preferibile esperienza pregressa in: analysis of motion-capture data e/o decision and game theory. (e.g., as models of agents' motion behavior). Il dottorato di ricerca in campi affini sarà considerato titolo preferenziale ma non obbligatorio per partecipare alla selezione.

The candidate must have a professional background to work in a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary team; preferrable but not necessary are a prior experience in the analysis of motion-capture data and/or in decision theory and game theory (e.g., as models of agents' motion behavior). A Ph.D. title in a topic related to the project is also a preferential requisite, but is not necessary.
