Flaminia Ferlito

Flaminia Ferlito is a PhD student in Analysis and Management of Cultural Heritage at IMT, Institute for Advanced Studies in Lucca, with a research focus on the history and conservation of the cultural heritage of the Fondo Edifici di Culto (FEC) department of the Ministry of Interior Affairs in Rome. 

After graduating in History of Art cum laude at the Sapienza University of Rome, she got two different masters, the first one in 2019 in Administrative Law and New technologies for Cultural Heritage sponsored by the Faculty of Law in the Sapienza University and the second one in 2020 in Art Management at Luiss Business School of Rome. 
In the same years, Flaminia has had different work experiences in public and private institutions. In 2019 she was part of the staff of the Ministry of Interior in Rome, where she worked on the FEC’s artistic objects catalogue. Also, she was a scientific committee assistant in the Raffaello exhibitions (2020) organisation at the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome, in collaboration with the Galleria Degli Uffizi of Florence.

Currently, Flaminia is a Student representative for Assessment Board. 

Her interest research focus on: 

  • the history of art collections, 
  • provenance in the art market
  • the management of cultural heritage, 
  • the relationship between iconology and the history of Early Modern Art.
