Profile

The IMT School is looking for a young researcher working on economics and management of innovation and, in particular, on patent protection, innovation, procurement, incentives.

The ideal candidate masters statistical and econometric tools for data analysis and has a PhD in Economics, Management, or similar fields.

The research activity will be conducted within the AXES Research Unit and will contribute to the development of new models and indicators to determine the value of innovation, specifically in the healthcare sector.

Activity

The ideal candidate will analyze research projects, patents, market dynamics to contribute to the definition of new models for innovation enhancement, in particular within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and biotech areas.

The analysis will be performed on data already available (AXES Research Unit database) in collaboration with other researchers at the IMT School.

Formal requirements

A PhD in Economics, Management or Statistics (compulsory before the date of appointment);
Knowledge of STATA and R;
An excellent command of the English language.

Approximately € 20350/year
