This seminar aims to explore and discuss the recent developments and growing popularity of AI, with a particular emphasis on the impact of ChatGPT/Dall-E. It will delve into the ethical questions and potential implications that arise in relation to AI advancements. While AI has brought about numerous benefits, such as improved efficiency and accuracy, it has also raised concerns regarding privacy, biases, security, and copyright issues. The seminar will examine some of the promises, opportunities, perils, and challenges associated with AI, with a particular focus on its applications and implications in the field of humanities. Through this exploration, the seminar intends to initiate a discussion that fosters a better understanding of the evolving landscape of AI in society.
