Biography
Francesco is an Associate Professor of Economics at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, where he is a member of the research unit AXES (Analysis of Complex Economic Systems) and serves as Director of the Research and Training Centre on Donation. He is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Alicante (FAE), Coordinator of the Cosupervision–Double Degree agreement with this institution, and one of the organizers of the meetings of the Network for Statistical and Causal Inference (NESCI).
Francesco was an Assistant Professor at the University of Alicante (FAE) and held teaching and research appointments at the University of Turin, University of Florence, Université Paris-Dauphine PSL, University of Valencia, and the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies Pisa (LEM).
His research interests include labor economics, health economics, international trade, production networks, microeconometrics, policy evaluation methods, and causal machine learning.
