JOBFAIR 2019, the job meeting for Italian schools of excellence

9 October 2019

To bridge the gap between the job market and the young talents of Italian higher education institutions, who upon the completion of their advanced education seek professional experiences to benefit companies - and more in general - our country, is the aim of the Jobfair. The initiative is organized by the six Public University Schools for Higher Education and Research with a special statute in Italy, the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies – Pisa, the Scuola Normale in Pisa, the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia, the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI) in l’Aquila, and the SISSA – Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati in Trieste.

The job meeting, which will serve as a rendezvous point for supply and demand, and will also foresee round tables, company presentations, individual meetings, testimonials and coaching, will be held next October 23rd and 24th at the Scuola Normale and the Sant’Anna School in Pisa. Now in its sixth year, the Jobfair will again see the united participation of the six institutions that represent some of the most dynamic and successful academic centers in Italy, all characterized by a strong international component and by the desire to nurture the link between higher education and the business world.

The program will be carried out over two days: on October 23rd from 11:30 am, at the Scuola Normale Superiore, the opening remarks and presentations will be held, as well as the testimonials of six young alumni, who now hold key appointments with various industry leaders in multiple sectors. On October 24th, from 9 am to 6 pm, at the Sant’Anna School, individual interviews will be held. Participants may register on the website www.jobfair2019.santannapisa.it from October 4th and book one-to-one meetings by the deadline of October 17th.

48 companies will be participating in this year’s edition, supported by 10 main sponsors: Bending Spoons, Cegeka, Deloitte, Engineering, Generali, Logol, Luxottica, Mckinsey, Nuovo Pignone, Valagro.
