My name is Rosaria Del Toro, I am a Ph.D student (XXXI cycle) at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca in Computer Science and Systems Engineering track and a fellow member of the MUSAM research unit directed by Prof. Marco Paggi.
I am currently a guest researcher at the Department of Functional Morphology and Biomechanics of University of Kiel (Germany).
I obtained my Master Degree in Mathematics from the University of Siena with a dissertation on fractional differential equations and fixed point theorems.
My reasearch interests concern with biologically inspired adhesive microstructures, biological membranes and contact mechanics.
