Lorenzo Cicchi obtained his Ph.D. in "Political Systems and Institutional Change" (XXV cycle). He successfully defended his dissertation "The Logic of Voting Behaviour in the European Parliament: New Insights on Party Group Membership and National Affiliation as Determinants of Vote" in December 2013, with the highest distinction. His main research interests are European Union politics and institutions, political parties, elections and voting behaviour.
