Biography
Livia Torchio is a Ph.D. Candidate in Analysis and Management of Cultural Heritage at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca. She holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Milan and a MA in Performing arts from the Iuav University of Venice, where she specialized in Aesthetics of the contemporary scene.
Her research interests include:
- Live performance collecting in Italian modern and contemporary art museums
- Archival strategies for live performance
- Performance Studies
Her PhD research explores the collection of live performances in Italian modern and contemporary art Museums.
