Requesting Library Resources
The Library welcomes new requests from faculty and students for the Library collection.
For an individual book title
Requests can be made by email (email@example.com) or by filling out the online form “Add a new purchase proposal” that you can find in your personal area of the OPAC. Contact the library if you have forgotten your username or password.
The Library will evaluate every request and will consult with the reference teacher of the specific discipline area.
For books to support teaching modules
The Library usually receives the reading lists from the PhD Office (the office in charge of organizing courses). We kindly advise that professors send the list of suggested books at least 4 weeks before the start of the course in order to have time to purchase, receive and catalogue the books.
Recommend a new e-journal or database subscription
Students and researchers can recommend new subscriptions to a journal or a database by sending an email to their referee (Track Director for students and Unit Director for researchers) for approval with the Library in cc (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Requests for new subscriptions can be sent until April 30th of each year. For expensive resources, the opinion of the Library Committee will also be required. In any case, all subscriptions depend on the availability of funds.
The review period of the electronic collection is scheduled in September. This is the right moment to ask for cancellations or changes to the subscriptions. The Library Committee approves the complete list of electronic subscriptions for the next year by October 31st.
