Activity:
The research collaborator will conduct a technology transfer activity aimed at research and development in the field of innovative materials and production processes for the footwear industry. Most of the activities will be carried out at Tacchificio Villa Cortese S.r.l. (Via A. Doria, 18, 20020 Villa Cortese, MI) and partly at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca (Lucca, Italy).
Profile:
Candidates must hold a degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, applied chemistry or related areas. The title of doctor of research on related topics will be considered preferential. The candidate must show from his curriculum and possible publications experience on one or more of the following topics: experimental materials mechanics, chemistry of polymeric materials, manufacturing production technologies, enabling technologies for Industry 4.0, computer-aided design and engineering. It requires a special predisposition to technology transfer, in view of developing a research and development activity between university and business sectors. Flexibility is required at work, as well as a good knowledge of English.
Formal requirements:
Master's degree, or five-year degree or equivalent qualification in engineering disciplines, in materials science or related areas. The research doctorate will be considered as a preferential title. Good knowledge of English and use of CAD and CAE software are required
