Knowledge and valorization of the cultural heritage of the San Francesco complex in Lucca

Profile:

The candidate must have excellent and proven skills in the field of research, documentation, and valorization of cultural heritage within complex and stratified contexts, with particular reference to archaeology. The researcher will be responsible for research and valorization relating to the San Francesco complex in Lucca, with particular regard to architectural and spatial changes that the different functions assumed by the context over time determined. Previous experience in cultural heritage valorization activities is a preferential aspect.
The candidate must also demonstrate excellent knowledge of the English language.

Activity:

The candidate, in agreement with the scientific supervisor, will conduct research on the different phases that characterize the complex of San Francesco di Lucca, with particular reference to archaeology and the spatial changes connected to the different functions assumed by the complex. In addition, she/he will plan valorization activities aimed at presenting the results of the research to a wide audience.

Formal requirements:

• master's degree in archaeology or related disciplines;

   

Specific requirements:

• excellent command of written and spoken English.
