La candidata/il candidato sarà inquadrata/o come consulente del progetto “Historicizing AIDS. Policies, rights,
discourses, and memories in the Italian case” (PRIN: PROGETTI DI RICERCA DI RILEVANTE INTERESSE NAZIONALE –Bando 2022 Codice MUR: 2022CY2J5S; CUP: E53D23000150006). Il progetto si propone di studiare
la storia dell’AIDS in Italia con riferimento alla sviluppo delle politiche assistenziali e sanitarie e alle dinamiche di mediatizzazione dell’epidemia. La consulenza si svolgerà all'interno dell'Unità di ricerca LYNX Center for the Interdisciplinary Analysis of Images, Contexts, Cultural Heritage.

The candidate will be employed as a consultant on the project "Historicizing AIDS. Policies, rights,
discourses, and memories in the Italian case" (PRIN: PROGETTI DI RICERCA DI RILEVANTE INTERESSE NAZIONALE –Bando 2022 Codice MUR: 2022CY2J5S; CUP: E53D23000150006). The project aims to study the history of AIDS in Italy with reference to the development of welfare and health policies and the dynamics of media coverage of the epidemic. The consultancy will take place within the LYNX Center for the Interdisciplinary Analysis of Images, Contexts, Cultural Heritage Research Unit.

Activity:

La candidata/il candidato dovrà svolgere ricerche archivistiche in istituzioni di ricerca pubbliche e private, relativamente alla storia della donazione del sangue e in relazione all'epidemia di HIV/Aids in Italia/Europa. In particolare, dovrà svolgere ricerche presso l'Archivio Nazionale AVIS; archivi della Croce Rossa Internazionale; archivio della Fédération internationale des organisations de donneurs de sang (Monaco); archivio dell’International Society of Blood Transfusion (Amsterdam).

The candidate will be required to conduct archival research in public and private research institutions on the history of blood donation and in relation to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Italy/Europe. In particular, they will be required to conduct research at the AVIS National Archives; the archives of the International Red Cross; the archives of the Fédération internationale des organisations de donneurs de sang (Monaco); and the archives of the International Society of Blood Transfusion (Amsterdam).

Formal requirements:

• Dottorato di Ricerca o titolo equivalente conseguito all’estero in materie affini all'oggetto del bando;
• Curriculum scientifico idoneo per lo svolgimento delle attività di ricerca ovvero esperienza comprovata di ricerca presso organizzazioni internazionali legate all'assistenza e alla salute;
• Ottima conoscenza del francese e dell'inglese sia scritto che parlato.

• PhD or equivalent qualification obtained abroad in subjects related to the subject of the call for applications;
• Scientific curriculum suitable for carrying out research activities or proven research experience at international organizations related to healthcare and assistance;
• Excellent knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken.

Specific requirements:

• Comprovata capacità di ricerca, orientamento storiografico, pubblicazioni in relazione alla storia di organizzazioni internazionali nel campo dell’assistenza.

   

• Proven research skills, historiographical orientation, publications related to the history of international organizations in the field of assistance.
