Assistenza alla pianificazione e documentazione delle attività di ricerca archeologica sul campo (Sabaudia, Sperlong, Pompei)

Profile:

The candidate must possess excellent and proven competence in the field of musealization of archaeological finds, as well as in the planning, organization, and management of archaeological excavation and documentation activities. Additionally, the candidate must have experience in the management and documentation of fragmentary archaeological materials of heterogeneous nature. The candidate must also demonstrate excellent knowledge of the English language.

Activity:

The candidate will collaborate with the scientific coordinators of ongoing or upcoming projects at the sites of the Villa of Domitian (Sabaudia, LT), the Villa of Tiberius in Sperlonga (LT), and the Archaeological Park of Pompeii.
In addition to planning and participating in field activities (which include survey work, the study of heterogeneous materials, and archaeological excavation), the candidate will contribute to the documentation and organization of materials in preparation for their future musealization.

Formal requirements:

• master's degree in archaeology or related disciplines;
• possession of a Ph.D. in archaeological or related disciplines is a preferential qualification, all other conditions being equal.

Specific requirements:

• excellent command of written and spoken English.
