A Ph.D. in Statistical Physics, Mathematics or Information Sciences is preferable in addition to a strong quantitative background. Candidates should have experience in interdisciplinary applications of Complex Network theory with particular emphasis on the analysis of large data sets. Experience with Computer programming and software for the analysis of large networks is preferable. Candidates must have an excellent record of high-impact international publications and should demonstrate enthusiasm for performing applied research in an interdisciplinary Research Unit
