Anna Pirri Valentini

Anna is a PhD candidate in Analysis and Management of Cultural Heritage at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca (Italy).
Her PhD research concerns the control on the export of cultural property, focusing on a legislative and administrative analysis of the regulatory frameworks adopted in Italy, France and England.
She teaches "Art Market Legislation" at NABA-Nuova Accademia Belle Arti-, Milan and she is teaching assistant for the course "Politics of cultural heritage in Europe" at LUISS University-Rome.
Graduated in 2015 cum laude in law at La Sapienza University in Rome (Italy) with a thesis about the relation between law and contemporary visual art, including artists’ contracts.
During her PhD she has been a Visiting research scholar at the Institut des Sciences Sociales du Politique -École normale supérieure Paris Saclay- (Paris) and at the LSE- London School of Economics and Political Science (London).
