The IMT School is pleased to invite you to participate in the upcoming Course "Knowledge Valorization and Technology Transfer to Create Impact on Society", promoted within the framework of the EFC- Educating Future Citizens Project and in collaboration with Netval - Network for research valorisation.
This two-part program is designed to help you understand how to transform research results into real value - for the market, for institutions, and for society at large. Through a mix of theory, practical tools, and hands-on workshops, you will gain essential skills in intellectual property, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Course structure
Activity 1 - February 26–27, 2026 @ IMT School
Includes four modules on Intellectual Property, Knowledge Valorization, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship (with a specific focus on both STEM and SSH fields).
Activity 2 - March 19–20, 2026 @ IMT School
A highly interactive workshop where you will work in teams to develop and refine your business case, guided by the instructor.
Eligibility and participation
This is an EFC Project initiative, also open to PhD students from other EFC Schools and, subject to availability, to participants beyond the EFC network.
While attending both activities is recommended, participation in only one activity may be evaluated upon request.
Registration
You will now register for the first activity. Please secure your spot by completing the registration form before February 6, 2026
Certification
The recognition process for Activity 1 will be initiated with the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals. If the evaluation is successful, participants will be awarded Continuing Education Points, which count toward the Registered Technology Transfer Professional international certification.
