AI and behavioural sciences: seasonal school at the IMT School

The Summer School "Open LLM for the Behavioral Sciences" kicks off today at the IMT School.

Until August 31, students and early-career researchers will explore open-source large language models (LLMs) from the Hugging Face ecosystem for research in the behavioral and social sciences. The program will focus on key concepts such as the attention mechanism, feature extraction, and text generation, with practical examples drawn from behavioral science.

The course is led by Prof. Wulff, with support from Dr. Hussain, both affiliated with the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin and the University of Basel.
