Public selection based on qualifications and interview for the recruitment of one (1) position in the Area of Fixed-Term Officials to support the activities of the Open Lab, a research infrastructure provided for by the RED project.

Profile:

IT infrastructure management o Installation and administration of wired and Wi-Fi networks o Configuration, administration and maintenance of servers, particularly those based on Linux systems, used by research groups, including the installation of open-source software environments, scientific computing tools and hardware resource management (CPU/GPU, RAID, storage, etc.). Ability to support workflow automation through scripts and background processes on research datasets o Support in the management of firewalls, storage and network equipment Operating systems and applications o Installation and configuration of specialist software required in laboratories o Management of advanced processing environments with GPUs, including the configuration of drivers and CUDA environments. o Installation and configuration of open-source environments used in science (e.g. R, Python, Jupyter, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, OpenFOAM, etc.). o Ability to work in multi-user environments with background jobs on shared servers. o Direct system support for research groups, in coordination with project managers. User support and security o Technical assistance to internal users (researchers, students, administrators) o Access and account management (integration with directories, security policies) o Introductory knowledge of cybersecurity.

Formal requirements:

Qualification:

1) Bachelor's degree (L) obtained under the new system pursuant to Ministerial Decree 270/2004, belonging to one of the following classes: L-8 Information Engineering; L-27 Chemical Sciences and Technologies; L-30 Physical Sciences and Technologies; L-31 Computer Sciences and Technologies; L-35 Mathematical Sciences;

or

2) First-level degree (L) obtained under the new system pursuant to Ministerial Decree 509/1999, belonging to one of the following classes: (09) Information Engineering; (21) Chemical Sciences and Technologies; (25) Physical Sciences and Technologies; (26) Computer Science and Technologies; (32) Mathematical Sciences.

Those who hold a university degree higher than that indicated in the previous points are also eligible for selection, specifically:

1) Degree (DL) under the previous system obtained in one of the following degree courses: Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering;

or

2) Master's degree (LS) obtained in accordance with Ministerial Decree 509/1999 belonging to one of the classes of master's degrees equated by Ministerial Decree 9.7.2009 to the aforementioned bachelor's degrees under the previous system (column 3 of the table attached to Ministerial Decree 9.7.2009), regardless of the class of the first-level degree;

or

3) Master's degree (LM) obtained in accordance with Ministerial Decree 270/2004 belonging to one of the master's degree classes equated by Ministerial Decree 9.7.2009 to the aforementioned degrees of the previous system (column 4 of the table attached to Ministerial Decree 9.7.2009), regardless of the class of the first-level degree.
