Elections for the renovation of the Academic National Council (CUN) - from March 29 th to April 5 th , 2023

The Ministry Ordinance n. 1321 dated December 2nd, 2022 calls for the elections of the Academic National Council members and for each of the academic field and discipline 03,05, 07, 09, 10, 12 e 13 are elected:

  • n. 1 full professor;
  • n. 1 associate professor;
  • n. 1 researcher. 

Elections have also been called for:

  • n. 1 full professor of academic field and discipline 06;
  • n. 1 researcher of academic field and discipline 01;
  • n. 1 researcher of academic field and discipline 08;
  • n. 3 representatives of the of university technical and administrative staff.

Election days

  • March 29 th , 30 th and 31 st , April 3 rd and 4 th 2023 from 9 am to 5 pm
  • April 5 th , 2023 from 9 am to 2 pm

Each voter can express his preference for one candidate only. For professors and researchers, the candidate who has obtained the highest number of votes will be elected; for technical and administrative staff, the three candidates who have obtained the highest number of votes will be elected. In the event of a tied vote, the elder in role shall prevail and, in case of another tied vote, the elder in age will be elected.

Voters
For professors and researchers, active and passive electorate is separately attributed to professors and researchers of the correspondent academic field and discipline; for technical and administrative staff, active and passive electorate is attributed to university permanent staff pertaining to the collective bargaining field Education and Research.

Applications
Applications for the election, undersigned by the candidates and authenticated by the Rector, must be presented no later than March 7 th , 2023 and sent before March 9 th , 2023, through the administrative offices of each University, to CINECA that shall be responsible for its publications on March 14 th 2023 and for its transmission to the Central Electoral Committee.
Pre-filled applications forms can be generated by the interested party on their personal website, without prejudice to the obligation to presenting this declaration, undersigned and authenticated by the Rector or the General Director or their delegates, to the university towhich they belong (for full and associate Professors only).

Exercising voting right
Each voter can vote one time, during the established days and times, logging in via his own device enabled to internet navigation and a web browser with Javascript support, to the website indicated in the “Voting” section of the website https://elezionicun.miur.it. Authentication through Public System for Digital Identity (SPID), set up for level 2, is required to access the platform.
Online platform access mode and voting instructions will be available at https://elezionicun.miur.it.
It is possible to express one preference. Vote is personal, free and secret and the voter, in consideration of the remotely voting system, is directly responsible for personal compliance of the aforementioned principles. Suspended staff following criminal or disciplinary prosecution, or precautionary suspended
staff waiting for criminal or disciplinary prosecution, does not benefit from active and passive electorate.
