Biography
Diana Martello is a Doctoral Candidate in Analysis and Management of Cultural Heritage at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Management of Cultural Activities from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
She has been a visiting researcher at the ZHAW School of Management and Law’s Center for Arts Management in Winterthur, where she contributed to the Swiss National Science Foundation–funded project Culture Goes Sustainable, carried out in collaboration with the University of Lausanne under the supervision of Professor Leticia Labaronne.
Diana is affiliated with the LYNX Center for the Interdisciplinary Analysis of Images, Contexts, and Cultural Heritage and actively collaborates with the ASK (Art, Science and Knowledge) research unit of the GREEN (Geography, Resources, Environment, Energy and Networks) Center at Bocconi University.
Her research focuses on the creation, structure, and dynamics of organizations, and their function and influence within society, specializing in the realm of non-profit cultural organizations.
Her most recent publication is the book Rendere conto: il bilancio di sostenibilità delle organizzazioni culturali (Egea, 2024), co-authored with Paola Dubini and Alberto Monti.
