Maria Grazia Buscemi

Marzia Buscemi received a Master Degree (cum laude) in Computer Science from the University of Catania and a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Naples `Federico II'.

In 1997, she visited for a semester the University of California at Berkeley for preparing her Master thesis. During the phD she has been invited as visiting student at the University of Aarhus, at the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA) Sophia-Antipolis and at the University of Florence.

Before joining IMT in May 2006, she was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Pisa. During the research activity, she collaborated to EU Integrated Projects PROFUNDIS and SENSORIA and to other projects supported by MIUR.
