Ph.D. Study/Research Period Abroad:

IMT Students are encouraged to spend a study / research period abroad.

After the first 14-16 months of the doctoral program dedicated to in-depth study through taught courses and seminars, a period of 6-12 months of the Ph.D. program is reserved for the completion of off-campus study and research activity, carried out mainly off-campus in international and Italian universities and research centers. This period is directed towards data gathering and analysis, as well as towards the drafting of reports on the various phases of the Ph.D. candidate's research.
