Location graphs: yet another global computing model (but with reason)

12 March 2015
San Francesco - Via della Quarquonia 1 (Classroom 1 )
What is common between binding in a distributed system, shared components in a complex software architecture, and coordinating distributed services ? We claim these are all instances of the same phenomenon, that of location graph composition. In this talk, we will survey the basic features of the location graph model as recently introduced in [1], present results on location graph equivalence, discuss relationships with other models for global computing, and hopefully answer the above question.
